Hey, y'all! I've opened a shop!
For nearly two decades, I have worked as an instructional designer, creating training programs in multiple industries. These programs have ranged from talent development and adult education for health care professionals to sales training for the entrepreneur. All the while, I have been writing and publishing novels for myself and many other indie authors, learning lots of lessons and honing my skills along the way.
As a result, doing this work has taught me a great deal of information related to wellness, sales, writing, self-publishing, the list goes on, and I want to share that information with YOU.
To better serve both readers and writers alike, I have opened a new shop called The Intuitive Storyteller Hub, the creative writer and reader's one-stop shop for resources to help elevate storytelling and books that haunt the heart. Pardon my progress, however, as I continue stocking the Hub with books, workbooks, journals, calendars, planners, and training courses.

In her more than thirty years as a storyteller and visual designer, Amanda “Mandy” Hughes has written and designed over a dozen works of literary, Southern Gothic, and women’s fiction under pen names A. Lee Hughes and Mandy Lee.
Mandy is the founder of Haint Blue Creative®, a space for readers and storytellers to explore, learn, and create. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Psychology, and she has worked as an instructional designer for nearly twenty years.
When she’s not writing fiction, Mandy enjoys the movies, theater, music, traveling, nature walks, birdwatching, and binging The Office. She is a tarot enthusiast who uses the cards to enhance creativity and foster wellness. She lives in Georgia with her husband and four sons, two of whom are furrier than the others (but not by much).
